Do you offer private or semi-private lessons?
Yes, single child private lessons are 20 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of structured play. Semi-private lessons require the enrollment of 2 children; it is best to coordinate a sibling or friend with similar skills.
Do you have Open Swim times?
Yes, Friday night is Family Swim or Gym Night. Here are the details:
Do you offer make-up lessons?
As much as we wish we could offer make up lessons, adding a make up student to a class compromises our small student/coach ratio, disrupts the rhythm of the class and because the make up child usually doesn’t get their regular coach, class time is wasted in the “get to know you” process. Thank you for allowing us to maintain the learning integrity of our classes. If it is necessary for
your child to miss a lesson, we offer a Friday Family Swim Night
pass for the whole family.
What class station should I enroll my child in?
New Swimmers (never attended Love to Swim School™) - Call and we can help assess your child’s abilities over the phone or stop by Monday - Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. for a free station assessment.
Past Swimmers (attended Love to Swim School™ in the past) - Enroll in the last station that your student was working on.
Current Swimmers (currently enrolled at Love to Swim™ School) - Enroll in the station they are currently working on or ask their instructor for a recommendation.
Can I request an instructor?
We do our best to accommodate teacher requests, however, these requests cannot be guaranteed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please be careful when enrolling. Our class sizes are limited; we schedule and pay coaches based on enrollment. If you feel the need to cancel your swim lessons, Love to Swim School™ will refund your payment minus a $50 cancellation fee in addition to a per class charge for the classes that have been held. The $25 registration fee is not refundable. There are no exceptions.
What is your class schedule?
Because we change classes constantly to accommodate our students, our “schedule” changes continually. Call us or come in for availabilities. Give us the days and times that work for you. Our staff will work with you to find a day and time that will meet your needs. Our goal is to make sure everyone who wants to learn to swim can.
What if my child won’t get in the water?
We ask that you confidently walk your child to the instructor on the pool-deck and allow our highly trained and experienced coaches to create a relationship with your child.
What if my child cries?
Please be assured that a crying child in lessons is not uncommon around the swimming school. The crying is a natural expression of his or her emotional discomfort due to a new class experience in the water and / or separation from you. We will actively combat your child’s discomfort because his emotional comfort is necessary for him to acquire new skills. Our staff will establish trust with your child and find creative ways to ease him or her into this new experience.
Why do you require all children not yet potty trained and 3 years and younger to wear a reusable swim diaper?
This policy is in place to ensure the health and well-being of our guests and employees. Therefore there will be no exceptions. Thank you in advance for assisting in keeping our environment clean and safe.
