About Our Swim School

It is our mission to develop students of all ages into happy, confident, masterful, lifelong swimmers.

Every day we look forward to:

• Creating positive experiences in the water
• Instilling student confidence in skills producing a willingness to try new things
• Laying the skill foundation for the technically sound swimming of all four competitive strokes
• Promoting swimming as a lifelong activity

Curriculum Overview

At Love to Swim School, we believe our curriculum is a living, evolving thing. Therefore, we are constantly studying and striving to improve and evolve as the science of swimming evolves. Our curriculum is a compilation of over 25 years of coaching excellence. It is a proven, technique oriented program with very defined goals and objectives. Swimming skills in our program are progressive; each skill in a station serves as a foundation for skills in the following stations. Our coaching professionals emphasize proper stroke mechanics from the very beginning in a fun, loving atmosphere. Mastery of all the skills in a station is required before a child will be awarded a graduation certificate and move up to the next station.

Because swimming is a skill sport, skill mastery takes time and practice. Every child progresses at his or her own pace. Our objective is to give students the best chance of skill mastery by offering lots of practice, feedback and positive reinforcement.

Year-round is the way to go…

Comfort and confidence in the water is built with constant exposure over time. Children continue to build on skills without the regression found in seasonal programs. We define “swimmer” as anyone who can swim a masterful 300 yards continuously.

Although no one is ever “drown-proof”, the ability to swim 300 yards lowers the chance of ever drowning exponentially. For them, true swimming mastery is a gift for life. For you, it is peace of mind.
